About Us

Conveniently located in the centre of Southport, Portland Hall Spa is an award-winning Moroccan & Art Deco themed day spa based in a characterful building that started life in 1865 as a Quaker Meeting House, before becoming a Synagogue in 1954 and finally a Spa in 2005.

Uniquely, in an effort to give clients personal space to ensure true relaxation, the Spa only offers private and exclusive use of the candlelit spa pool, soft tub in the Moroccan Suite or the Exotic Mud Rasul. In addition the Spa Bar and Restaurant provide space and a break for relaxation in betweeen or after treatments.

We work with local hotels such as the Ramada Plaza and Royal Clifton, both on the seafront. We provide spa breaks so that customers can enjoy everything that Southport has to offer including a fantastic coastline, gardens, golf courses, markets, shopping, art gallery and theatres.

We are extremely proud to be a PAYOT spa, using a remarkable collection of potent, radically effective formulations that keep their promises and lift your spirits.

Our packages and treatments are perfect for couples, friends, and individuals. Most packages include exclusive use of the candlelit spa pool which ensures privacy and quiet, with fresh fruit brought to the poolside; it leaves you with the perfect time to relax, unwind and chat.

Many of our packages are for treatments only, leaving you, the customer to decide if you'd like to add the private pool, mud rasul, extra treatments or food and drink in our dining area. If you are unsure about options, please ring us.

We also cater for those just taking time out on their own, clients are able to choose from a wide variety of indulgent treatments. Visits can be planned around lunch, or a half day will allow time to be spent in shops on Southport's famous Lord Street Boulevard.
